Summer Salad

🥗 Summer Salad

CSA Staff Favorite from Turnpaugh Health
“My family cannot stop eating this salad on repeat! It is a must-try!”

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup butterhead lettuce, chopped

  • 1 cup Spiral Path spring mix

  • 2 mini cucumbers, sliced

  • ½ ripe avocado, sliced

  • 2 tablespoons sliced almonds

  • 2 tablespoons flaxseeds

  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar (add extra if you love tang!)

  • 1 tablespoon Bragg’s Ginger Sesame Dressing

Instructions:

  1. Rinse and chop the butterhead lettuce and place it in a large bowl.

  2. Rinse and slice the cucumbers, and finely slice the avocado. Set aside.

  3. In a small cup, mix the apple cider vinegar with Bragg’s Ginger Sesame Dressing.

  4. Pour the dressing over the lettuce and toss until evenly coated.

  5. Add cucumbers, avocado, sliced almonds, and flaxseeds over the top.

  6. Serve immediately and enjoy the crunch!
