Sarah began her healthcare journey in 2011 as an EMT. In 2017 she started nursing school at Wilson College and fell in love with the profession. She graduated in 2020 with her BSN and began her career at Penn State Health Hershey. Her experience was gained primarily in the Emergency Department and Heart and Vascular CCU. While she learned many skills and gained a great amount of knowledge she felt like there was more to an individual’s personal healthcare journey that could be learned and explored.
She explored more natural ways to enhance her personal and family’s health and discovered Turnpaugh. As soon as the opportunity presented itself she was excited to join Team Turnpaugh as an IV nurse and enhance her learning of functional medicine.
In her free time, Sarah spends her time with her spouse and three beautiful children. She enjoys running, backpacking, kayaking, fly-fishing, and doing pretty much anything that involves being outside.
A fun fact about Sarah is that she lives in a haunted house that used to be the National Bank in York County!
