Meet Collin Gill, DC

Collin Gill, DC
Functional Medicine, Chiropractor, Mechanicsburg, Richfield

Functional Medicine & Chiropractic | Mechanicsburg · Manheim

Dr. Gill didn’t take a conventional path to functional medicine — he left a future as a professional violinist to pursue it after experiencing its impact firsthand. That kind of personal conviction tends to show up in how a provider practices. For Dr. Gill, it shows up in his willingness to take on the cases most providers won’t: complex chronic illness, tick-borne disease, pediatric disorders, and conditions that have gone undiagnosed for years.

Clinical Focus

  • Complex & “Mystery” Chronic Illness
  • Autoimmune Diseases
  • Tick-Borne & Lyme Disease
  • Gastrointestinal & Microbiome Disorders
  • Pediatric Disorders — Autism Spectrum, PANS/PANDAS
  • Undiagnosed & Misdiagnosed Illness

Education & Experience

Dr. Gill earned his Doctorate of Chiropractic from National University of Health Sciences and began practicing functional medicine in the Chicago area. His postgraduate training spans ILADS, the Medical Academy for Pediatric Special Needs (MAPS), the Institute for Functional Medicine, Apex Seminars, and the Kharrazian Institute — a combination that reflects deep specialization in the areas where conventional medicine most often runs out of answers.

Areas of Expertise

Dr. Gill focuses on the intersection of immune dysfunction, chronic infection, gut health, and neurological conditions — including complex pediatric cases involving autism spectrum disorder and PANS/PANDAS. He approaches each patient through collaborative decision-making and thorough education, so patients understand not just what they’re doing but why.

Professional Contributions

Dr. Gill is an active member of ILADS and the Medical Academy for Pediatric Special Needs (MAPS), and continues advanced training through IFM, Apex Seminars, and the Kharrazian Institute. His memberships reflect a clinical focus that goes well beyond general functional medicine.

Personal Life

Dr. Gill and his wife Alissa are outdoor enthusiasts and committed travelers — most recently through the Swiss and Austrian Alps. He remains an active violinist, still performing at weddings and family events. He’s also deeply involved in his community and finds meaning in serving others both inside and outside the clinic.

Health Habits

  • Long-Distance Running
  • Sauna
  • Cold Plunge
  • Coffee Brewing

Dr. Gill built his practice around the patients who’ve been told there are no answers. He tends to disagree.
