Dr. Smith grew up in Massachusetts and did her medical training at the Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine. She practiced in Altoona, PA doing inpatient and outpatient work for 10 years before coming to the Carlisle area in 2010. While working for Carlisle Hospital she discovered functional medicine in 2012. She joined Dr. Turnpaugh in his new office in 2014. She is board certified in internal medicine, which involves comprehensive adult medicine, and she sees patients ages 14 and above for consultations. Dr. Smith will partner with you to determine underlying causes of chronic illness and optimize wellness.
