Tara has the most healing nature of anyone I have ever met. IV therapy in this office is an integral part of my healing process.
I am a mother of 4, a Registered Nurse, and a Mom. Along with enjoying writing, drumming, sewing and hiking I just began the Nurse Practitioner program at Walden University. I am also working towards my certificate in Anthroposophical Medicine based from the German philosopher Rudolf Steiner’s observations of how we should approach our health. I am a trained birth and postpartum doula. I have also worked in advocacy to educate and empower women in their birthing choices. Previous to this position, I spent 7 years on a medical surgical floor as a hospital nurse. After a serious car accident changed my life I knew I needed to leave hospital nursing behind and seek out something more fulfilling on a personal and professional level. Turnpaugh Health and Wellness provided just that opportunity. As the lead infusion nurse for the IV program, I am not only doing a job I love but I also get to connect and form relationships with the people I care for. I strive to provide the most up to date, relevant and safe care to patients. I am challenged daily to learn and grow. I am also fortunate in this position to be surrounded by providers who are some of the best in their fields. It is a beautiful thing to witness people returning to wellness.
