Autoimmunity by definition is that you do not tolerate yourself.  It is called a “loss of self tolerance”. We address many autoimmune conditions, including, but not limited to, multiple sclerosis, Hashimoto’s autoimmune thyroid disease, Sjogren’s disease, Rheumatoid arthritis, Lupus, Crohn’s disease, Ulcerative colitis, Psoriasis, Eczema, Celiac disease, Vitiligo, and more.

How We Can Help

Our approach is to look for any trigger that has created an imbalance in the immune system.  This could be allergies, mold, Lyme disease, infections, viruses, heavy metals, etc.  We will carefully analyze for any triggers and start by removing or reducing these triggers.  We support healthy detox and repair of the gut lining while reducing systemic inflammation. We look to maximize your body’s physiology by supporting any insufficiencies or deficiencies found on laboratory testing

What to Expect

You can expect a detailed health history and exam with your Functional Medicine provider, and extensive blood work to identify any insufficiencies as well as potential deficiencies in your physiology. An assessment of your diet, your sleep, your exercise patterns, your intolerances to stress, and environmental toxins will all be addressed as well. This will all be followed up at your second appointment where your functional medicine provider will spend an hour customizing your individualized care plan. You will also have a 30 minute appointment with the health coach to review and support you through any dietary changes. Additionally, you will meet with the functional psychologist to discuss the stressors and emotional components to your health care plan.
